For decades, one side of our family managed global clinical trial logistics—mastering supply chain integrity, supplier relationships, and regulatory precision. Simultaneously, the other served as emergency medical providers and first responders, witnessing the tragic gap between having an AED and first aid kit and being truly prepared.

As a firefighter, Matthew has spent years responding to the calls most people never see. He knows the stark reality that over 70% of a fire department's calls are for medical emergencies, not fires. He has been in the room during a sudden cardiac arrest, where a person’s chance of survival drops 10% with every passing minute. For him, witnessing the tragic gap between a facility simply having an AED and a team being truly prepared to use it wasn't just an observation—it became a personal mission.
This relentless, firsthand experience is the soul of Axira. Matthew fused his frontline insights with his family's decades of mastery in global supply chain integrity and regulatory precision. He built this company with a single, uncompromising purpose: to close that critical gap, ensuring our clients are not just equipped with a product, but empowered with the absolute confidence to save a life.

For Andrew, this new venture is a return to his roots. Long before becoming a recognized leader in the global clinical trial supply chain, his first career was as a firefighter, witnessing firsthand how critical preparedness is in saving a life.
That frontline experience shaped a career dedicated to precision and operational excellence, culminating in the founding of Clinical365 and a reputation for mastering complex global logistics.
Now, he co-founds this new company with son, Matthew, a firefighter and founder of Axira. This venture fuses two generations of experience: Andrew's strategic, global expertise with Matthew’s present-day, frontline reality. Together, they bridge the gap between high-level strategy and high-stakes application, creating solutions built with a unique, life-saving perspective.
